Landscaper of the YearTotal Landscape Care is accepting applications for the 2009 Landscaper of the Year contest.

The deadline to register is August 29, 2008. Twelve finalists and their guests will be treated to an all-expenses-paid Caribbean cruise in November, where one finalist will be named the 2009 Landscaper of the Year.

Jeffrey Moen wins Landscaper’s Dream Package
Jeffrey Carl Moen, owner and CEO of Jeff’s Landscaping in Reynolds, North Dakota, is the winner of Total Landscape Care magazine’s 2007 “Landscaper’s Dream Package.” This year’s Dream Package, a value of $50,000, included a skid-steer loader from New Holland, a zero-turn mower from Snapper Pro, a walk-behind blower from Giant-Vac, professional turf and ornamental products from Quali-Pro, specialty grass products and spreader from Lebanon Turf, a chainsaw along with other power equipment from Dolmar Power Products and business management software designed for professional landscapers from CLIP. The “Landscaper’s Dream Package” was presented to Moen at Fargo Tractor in mid-December. Moen’s company specializes in landscape site prep, concrete removal, patio development, over-seeding and sod work. The company is positioned to expand into tree trimming and removal.
