Newly registered herbicides control broadleaf weeds
Nufarm Americas’ 4-Speed and 4-Speed XT herbicides work to control virtually all broadleaf weeds in turf. 4-Speed combines dicamba, 2,4-D and MCP-P with pyraflufen for general broadleaf weed control in most situations. 4-Speed XT contains dicamba, 2,4-D and triclopyr in addition to pyraflufen to tackle tough weeds such as white clover. It can also improve performance in cool conditions.

Smaller version of Aquabasin for tighter spaces
Aquascape introduced the Small Aquabasin to accommodate more constrained landscapes and smaller budgets. The Small Aquabasin is made of black, high-density polyethylene, and the octagonal shape measures 30 inches front to back and left to right with a 10-inch depth. It can hold 40 gallons of water, and the reinforced deck can support decorative features weighing up to 300 pounds.

Define landscape beds fast
Using the new Bedscaper BE400 from E-Z Trench, landscapers can create or define curved landscape beds quickly and easily. The BE400 can edge existing beds, dig a trench seven inches deep or prep edges for installing 5-inch plastic edging. Caster steering makes achieving smooth, fluid curves possible.

Tailgate spreader ideal for light commercial applications
The Sno-Pro Fast-Cast 400 series tailgate spreader from Curtis Industries features a UV protected high-density polymer hopper with 180 pounds capacity. The unit has a spreading width of 4 to 20 feet, includes variable speed control and can be mounted on a Reese hitch or tractor 3-point. The 12-volt DC direct drive motor is mounted in a weather tight enclosure.

Maximize water efficiency with rotary nozzle
K-Rain Manufacturing’s RN-200 series of matched-precipitation rotary nozzles provide even coverage regardless of arc setting. A low precipitation rate can minimize runoff with compacted soils and sloped areas. The nozzle series offers a standard radius of 20 feet at 40 psi, adjustable to 13 feet. The unit is available in fixed arcs of 90, 180 and 360 degrees, and each includes a large basket filter screen.

New line of hardscaping products
Quikrete’s HardScapes line features decorative stone, pebbles and rock options including all-purpose stone, pea pebbles, pond pebbles, red lava rock, river pebbles and marble chips. Additional aggregates include a variety of sands, such as paver jointing sand, paver base sand, play sand, general purpose sand and pool filter sand. Quikrete’s PowerLoc Jointing Sand is also available with this line. HardScapes are available in 1/2-cubic foot, heavy-duty plastic bags.

Yanmar enhances mini excavator line
Yanmar added the ViO55-5B to its mini excavator line. The new unit’s zero tailswing design allows operators to make 360-degree turns within the width of the tracks. Constructed of high tensile strength steel, the machine is lighter while still providing safety and balance. Other features include maximum bucket digging force of 9,015 pounds, digging depth over 13 feet, tailor-made hydraulic quick coupler and optional angle blade.
