‘Landscaper of the Year’ award to recognize professional landscapers

Total Landscape Care, in partnership with Case Construction, is accepting nomination for its annual “Landscaper of the Year” award to recognize professional landscapers with an excellent reputation and track record. Twelve finalists and their guest will receive an all-expenses-paid cruise to the Bahamas November 14-17, as well as editorial features in Total Landscape Care magazine. One finalist will be selected Landscaper of the Year and featured on the cover of the magazine’s January 2009 issue.

The Landscaper of the Year award aims to honor professional landscapers with the best reputations who are giving back to their industry and communities through a “best practices” operation of their businesses. These landscapers demonstrate the highest standards, including business expertise, marketing and equipment management knowledge, attention to safety and community involvement. All 12 finalists will be recognized during a gala banquet on the cruise.

To enter or nominate another landscaper, complete the nomination form click here and return it by August 29 to 2009 Landscaper of the Year, c/o Christina Jesson, Total Landscape Care, P.O. Box 2029, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403-2029. The applicant may also include up to three additional items such as letters of reference, newspaper clippings or photos to support the entry and help the judges more thoroughly understand the nominee’s company.

To qualify, applicants must earn annual revenues of $8 million or less, have at least five years of landscape company ownership experience, have an excellent safety record, own at least three ride-on machines and represent the landscape industry in a positive way. Winners will be notified by mail.


Snow’s Garden and Landscape Center named 2008 Landscaper of the Year 

Total Landscape Care has named Corbin Snow and Snow’s Garden and Landscape Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, the magazine’s 2008 Landscaper of the Year.

“We're honored to be chosen as Total Landscape Care’s first ‘Landscaper of the Year',” Snow says. “Every finalist was very deserving, so it’s humbling to know we were here with all of these fine people.”

Sponsored by Case Construction Equipment, this annual program recognizes 12 finalists as the best and brightest in the landscaping industry. On November 9-12, the finalists and their guests enjoyed an all-expenses-paid, four-day cruise to the Bahamas, where Snow’s was named the winner during a gala banquet.

Snow’s received a plaque and will be featured on the cover of and in the January 2008 edition of Total Landscape Care. Each of the 11 finalists will be featured in a story about their businesses in the magazine during 2008.
