N.C. State honors BayerCropScience VP

The North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Agriculture and Life Science (CALS) honored Nick Hamon, vice president of product development and sustainable development at Environmental Science, a business of Bayer CropScience.
Hamon received the CALS Volunteer of the Year Award, and was invited to join the NCSU CALS chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society for agriculture.
Hamons’ work for NCSU includes serving on the North Carolina Agricultural and Life Sciences Research Foundation, chair of the NCSU CALS Communications Committee, adjunct professor, serving on two PhD committees, NCSU career events, and involvement with the UNC general administration to build a long-term plan to improve university/industry partnership opportunities.
